The 2009 N.C.C.S. Walk for the Children is scheduled for Saturday, September 26 at Lindell Field in Forest Park in St. Louis, MO. A 5k Run has been added to the event and back by popular demand is the Kids' Fun Run.

Declan
On Father’s Day in 2006, 15-month-old Declan scared his parents when he suffered a seizure. A few days later, Tym and his wife Mel, received the frightening news that their only child had an atypical teratoid rhamdoyd tumor of the brain, or AT/RT.
